Important Notice
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Yunus Combinator platform and participation in our accelerator program. By submitting an application or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Yunus Combinator platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to apply to our accelerator program. By applying, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you are applying on behalf of a team or company, you must have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
3. Application Process
All information provided in your application must be truthful and accurate. Yunus Combinator reserves the right to verify any information provided. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. We evaluate applications based on potential, commitment, and alignment with our mission of social entrepreneurship.
4. Program Participation
If accepted into the accelerator program, you agree to: actively participate in scheduled sessions and activities, complete assigned tasks and milestones to the best of your ability, engage respectfully with mentors, fellow founders, and staff, provide honest feedback to help improve the program, and represent Yunus Combinator professionally in all communications.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of your startup's intellectual property. Yunus Combinator does not claim any rights to your ideas, products, or business models. However, you grant us permission to feature your startup in promotional materials, case studies, and demo day presentations with your prior consent.
6. Confidentiality
Information shared during the program, including feedback from mentors, strategies discussed, and details about other startups, should be treated as confidential unless explicitly stated otherwise. We expect all participants to respect the confidentiality of their peers.
7. No Guarantee of Success
Yunus Combinator provides mentorship, resources, and guidance, but we cannot guarantee the success of your startup, investment, or specific outcomes. Building a successful company requires significant effort, adaptability, and sometimes luck. You acknowledge that entrepreneurship involves risk.
8. Investment and Equity
Terms regarding investment, equity, and financial arrangements will be discussed separately during the acceptance process and formalized through separate agreements. These Terms and Conditions do not constitute an investment agreement.
9. Code of Conduct
We are committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free environment. Discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the program without refund of any fees paid.
10. Termination
Yunus Combinator reserves the right to terminate your participation in the program if you violate these terms, engage in unethical behavior, or fail to actively participate. You may also voluntarily withdraw from the program at any time by providing written notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
Yunus Combinator, its staff, mentors, and partners are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the program or use of our platform. This includes but is not limited to business losses, failed ventures, or missed opportunities.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through appropriate legal channels in Bangladesh.
